Contribute FeedbackMing Shee has garnered mixed reviews, with some patrons reminiscing about its once-great flavors while others lament the decline in quality. Diners report issues like bland fried rice, undercooked dumplings, and inconsistent service. However, there are also positive reflections on the restaurant's cleanliness, reasonable prices, and the speed of service during lunch hours. Many frequent visitors appreciate the comforting, albeit greasy, dishes, highlighting the dumplings and crispy white rice. While various experiences highlight both satisfaction and disappointment, Ming Shee continues to attract customers seeking familiar Chinese cuisine within a welcoming environment.
So far this place is the best chinese food spot we've found since moving here. We recently moved here from Las Vegas and were craving chinese food. Most of the places in Peoria were bland and not very good. This is the 4th place we've tried and finally!Decent chinese food with flavour. We've been back three times now and not disappointed. It hits the spot when craving oldfashion greasy chinese food.
Been eating here for nearly 20 years and just like Fayth said they have different dumplings. Pretty sure these are just frozen and not at all made at the restaurant. For nearly 8 dollars I could go by a bag at Costco . Try golden kitchen for realdumplings and they?re cheaper too. Had to come back and edit after eating rest of our meal. Somebody else mentioned lack offlavor and I have to agree. Beef and broccoli lacked any flavor, the fried rice had no taste. Mei fun chicken was ok. Weirdlybland food not sure what?s going on here but it?s disappointing
They changed their dumpling recipe! It?s totally different the taste and quantity is nothing compared to what it used to be. I used to order 2 thing of dumplings because they were so good now I have to find a different shop! Bring back the old recipe!
Typically take carry out, have tried alot on their menu. Everything is fantastic, never a complaint. We occasionally dine in, very clean and average inside. Wish it was cozier and they served alcohol inside, I'm use to that type of restaurant. Beingfrom Chicago that is how all Chinese restaurants are, and you don't order at counter.
I like the fried rice but I ordered combination fried rice but I only see 5 shrimps the rest rice. This company is getting over on people with their fried rice. Sad it doesn?t come with eggs. An barely no meat. I had to go home add more shrimp chicken to my rice. I?m tired of supporting this restaurant I?m not happy with just getting all rice barely any meat. Inever see chicken or beef in the combination rice just shrimp. Then they act like they don?t understand English when I ask forenough meat
