"Arrived to pick up our order on Friday and they did not have it ready. The man was very rude and claimed we never even placed the order. After a couple of minutes he actually found our order but instead of putting it down for Friday they put it down for Tuesday. Prior to that we had to even prove on our phone that we actually did call Highway bakery because he just would not believe us. So they wrote down the wrong date but refused to admit that they did. He said he would support his employee rather than the customer and said that we were not telling the truth. I am totally done with Highway bakery. We left there and went down to Pearson's who were wonderful and gave us just what we want it"

"We tried Hidden Manna Cafe for the first time we had a great experience dining in. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem ! First we were greeted by many of the servers which made us feel welcomed.Our server name was Lucy who kept it real with us re:many of the choices on the menu . The atmosphere was cozy intimate , felt like we were at home . The music was soft relaxing last but not least the food was DA BOMB . We tried the fried green tomatoes , shrimp grits , fish grits . Everything was filling GOOD ........ Would visit again"

"We love Monicals thin crust pizza! This is the last Monicals on I-57 when headed North back to Chicago. Unfortunately, we've never found anything like Monicals in the Chicago area. All of our family members have standing instructions to stop and pick up a couple of pies and a salad when traveling from downstate. A large deluxe and a large cheese and double pepperoni are two of our favorites... add a salad and French dressing and were talking pure pizza bliss..."
