"Reviews are on point. The owner takes care of service as well as food in the dimly light, underground "feel" of a restaurant that can barely squeeze in more than 15 guests at a time. However, that's exactly the charm of the spot! The service is super personalized and those cod patties... An instant classic! Give it a try if your not the "shine your shoes, wear your fancy shmancy pants to restaurant night" type of client!"

"We were seated for a few minutes before our server came over to tell us the specials of the day. The couple who had been seated after us had already been told the specials. Okay, no problem. That happens. We took a couple of minutes to peruse the menu, then closed them, to indicate that we were ready to order. Our server went to several other tables. Sometimes to serve food or wine (he delivered cutlery to one table after they'd been given their main course). He cleared plates from a table that he wasn't serving. I'm pretty sure He saw that we were waiting to order. He chatted up a couple of tables, then disappeared into the kitchen. We sat patiently. And patiently. And patiently. After about 15 minutes, we got up to leave. The couple who arrived after us were eating their appetizers. The hostess saw us walking out and asked us what happened. We said that no one came to take our order. She was horrified, but for us, it was too late. So we left. The menu looked great, though. Great view, too."

"The food is amazing. They serve some of the best seafood in the area and for sure some of the best seafood I’ve had. Servers were friendly and managed taking out order and explaining the menu with the little English they had."

"Great view, seafood was ok although the rice and the vegetables were definitely not fresh but frozen as they had no taste... service super slow, we almost gave up and left... however the price was reasonable and parking was free"

"Deplorable service, lack of obvious staff, arrogant waitress, no room manager present to supervise this team. And be listening to customers. However, the kitchen is very good. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: CA$50–60"

"Went there for a small bite, ordered clam chowder, fried scallops. My friend ordered fish and chips. Waited 45 minutes. Friend's order arrived but mine was shrimp instead. Waitress made a mistake, so waited another 15 minutes and got frozen scallops that were warmish in the middle. Was starving so didn't send it back. While we waited our waitress enjoyed her lunch and wiped her nose on the back of her hand a few times. Nice."
