"We chose the Normandie for five nights in June in a 3rd floor view room. Good choice! We enjoyed our time. Service was sparse (so they think it’s still pandemic? but the room was tidy and the property well maintained. If you want a hotel with a view of the rock (it’s why you drove all this way, isn’t it?? then this is your place. Recommended. Rooms: Comfortable if a bit dated in their decor. Food drinks: Excellent table d’hote value for dinner and the dining room itself makes you feel like you are in a ship on the water thanks to its elevated position. Noteworthy details: Stay in the 3rd floor view rooms, the rock seems surreal and is a source of fascinating entertainment at all hours with the light changing the colors characteristics of it. "Nice place and very friendly staff. We arrived in the evening without reservation and there were some free tables. The waitresses were very welcoming. The food was good, but a bit on the expensive side. The ambience is clean and relaxed. We enjoyed our soups here when Gaspé came by."
