"I have not been to this fabulous place for many years...but my memories of Los cables (bar Victoria) so named after the owners daughter, are very happy memories. The food was always delicious specially the 'russian salad ' it 's mouth wateringly exquisite, I hope it 's not too much longer before I return for a visit to my favourite restaurant in my happy place "trabuco '"

"It has been a long time since we visited Table Mountain and thought we'd give it a try. The goats cheese salad was very nice however everything went downhill after that. A lady arrived at the restaurant and sat with the owners. They all appeared to have the most dehabilitating cough. Whilst I appreciate someone cannot help coughing, this was disgusting, no thought for anyone else in the restaurant. In hindsight we should have settled the bill and left, unfortunately we were too polite. The main courses came from the freezer without doubt, the prawns were stodgy and the potatoes undercooked and tactless. My husbands chicken was relatively OK apparently the sauce saved the day. I could have cooked the food from my freezer at a fraction of the cost. The service was not good , whist the female owner was relatively pleasant she disappeared outside to accompany someone smoking. The gentleman I found ignorant and rude, no requirement to hang over the table whilst one sorts out payment. Originally we planned to go out for an Indian meal, how I wish we had, what a waste of 56 euros, these people do not deserve one's custom, there is clearly no respect."

"Dining at Cortijo Paco is a very special experience and we have never been disappointed. Guests at our Casa Olivo and El Olivo also love it! We have dined as a couple, with friends and family and on one occasion hosted a party there. The food is always beautifully presented and very tasty. There’s an excellent wine list including some great local wines. Laura and her team are smart, friendly, relaxed and yet knowledgeable and efficient and the setting is just wonderful, particularly in the summer when dining is out on the terrace with views down to the coast. For a special dining experience in Cómpeta we would have no hesitation in recommending Cortijo Paco."
