"We were on the 2nd Viking Market in Shields. The place is really small, because the food is great in the barn! There is everything in enormous sizes, but also a normal variant. We had from normal (Schnitzel au four, via Currywurst XL (400 g!!! ), hanging over the edge of the plate and had neat pommes up to the XL Burger (diameter 18 cm once the full program. The supplements are also variable and range from pommes to croquettes, potato licks to roast potatoes. Everything tasted good was hot and fresh. The service is fast, friendly and strives to fulfill all wishes. The ambience ranges from rustic (in the actual barn to modern (in the new guest room to a large cozy terrace). An ideal place for family celebrations, as a few rooms can be booked and if necessary a large holiday tent is available. Full recommendation!"

"First of all, the positive: bicycle-friendly accommodation with separate, lockable wheel shed, binoculars on the window bench, 1 separate egg for breakfast and 2 jams without plastic packaging, relatively friendly rooms, use of linen linen possible, for spider fans: 5 spiders in the cinnamon, 4 in corners and a larger one for me a bit tricky. Cons: Cushion filling felt like lumped cotton filling, breakfast (for 2 pers. was dressed on table with 4 white rolls and 1 slice of dry whole-grain bread, plates with sausage and cheese was as close and counted as the small fruit plate with 1 apricot, 2 very narrow pieces of watermelon, with mini-portion tomato with cucumber. Communication with owner couple naja , price for single room 65 €, i.e. 30 above the information on homepage: from 50 € ."

"We come to the Burgkeller regularly for 5 years. By coincidence we found these. Nice burgher. Anne and Rene really did something from the castle cellar. Last visit to the 700 year celebration( The one organized by the municipality, full of reinstatement) we unfortunately had to learn that you stop at the end of the year, because the municipality works completely against the tenants. They have created and executed a lot in the years. Too bad that such guards are put by the municipality other things (restaurant) in front of the door. We wish Anne and Rene and the super staff all the best for the future and hope that we may see again this year. We are no longer going to start the tilesMfG"

"Yesterday, after a long time, we were eating again at the brewhouse. First we were surprised by the menu: Very clear! 3 meat and fish dishes and 2 desserts. Just like the drinks. The price-performance ratio is not in the lot. For a small dump steak with beans and roast potatoes (see photo) 32,90€! The explanation of the service personnel: we have a new card for a week. The new boss wants it more exclusive. He thinks less is more. We disagree. It doesn't seem to be just us, because there were only 3 tables, including ours, occupied. Conclusion: It was probably our last visit there. Too bad."
