"I was truly impressed with our visit today. The food and the staff were excellent. We had the two meat plates with burnt ends fried pickles, baked beans, and fries. The burnt ends were the best we have ever had. They were tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The young lady at the counter named Shy was truly what made our day. Not only did she have excellent customer service skills but she also asked us how the food was on the way out the door. That is so rare these days, it really made our day. Thank you for being the best BBQ place around town and in Kansas"

"The person that dropped off my food heard me say oh man. He came back and asked what was wrong. I told him I forgot to ask for no lettuce, he took it back and fixed it. I went to look for a knife a few minutes later but they didn’t have any. He saw that and came to the table with a knife and fork. Great work ethic and great customer service!"

"We eat in Lonnie's before it became known as Lonnie's Q's BBQ... when it was part of the Harley Davidson Shop on the 21st in KS. At least 17 years ago... before my first baby was born. We have ALWAYS great food! No complaints ever! Today was the best we ever had... Always better thanks Lonnie Q!"

"Jefferson's felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Ordered fried mushrooms and wings. It was good but I wouldn't make it a priority to go here again next time I'm in town. I asked for my wings to be cooked a little longer and they weren't. They were cooked through, and tasted good, I just prefer them well done."

"Best burger in town in my opinion! The menu options are fantastic, they have specials all the time as well. Delicious burgers, and a vast assortment of fries. They make their own sauces and pickles too! The milkshakes are phenomenal, especially the adult options. They can get extremely busy! The line sometimes out the door. That can make the wait time a little rough, but so worth it."

"Good food as always with one exception this time I ordered a sandwich. It comes with kettle chips that were like bagged ones you get from the store or gas station, so poor quality and basic for a restaurant with tasty rosemary flat bread. "I love Wheatfield's bread, but I wouldn't call the café vegan-friendly. When you come to breakfast, your options are dry toast, hash brown and fruit. There is also a vegan ginger cookie, and Soymilk is available for espresso drinks. We were told that the peanut butter and the jelly sandwich are not available before lunch, which seemed silly. Other vegan lunch options are a salad or sandwich with animal products removed. Sandwich toppings and spices are quite milk-centric, including on the Tempeh leaves. A designated vegan sandwich (except pb)"
