"Food was good nothing special, nice plating. A side order of fries was $6.00 and not a lot for the price. Wings OK. Ambience was nice, the waitress seemed to be over run but very pleasant. I would not return based on price alone. Otherwise its good."

"Country diner has very friendly staff and the food is ok. I ordered veal one time and this made my mind up about this restaurant. The veal was something that was previously frozen like the veal patties you get from Costco, in fact I'm almost sure that is what it was. When I go to a restaurant for veal I'm expecting a nice piece of meat in perhaps a nice sauce. This came as a patty with a few fries and peas. Not impressed so I stopped going. Always found their portions a bit chinsy!"

"This is our third time stopping at Penny's on our way to Ottawa. I love the food. Everything we have had tastes delicious from breakfast to lunch. The restaurant is tiny but quaint. If you are passing through Perth it is a must stop kinda place."
