Wow! Stopped here on a whim while driving back from Ottawa. We did wait a long time for a table but it was worth the wait! I had the Hipster Eggs Benny and it was absolutely delicious. My wife also really enjoyed her classic breakfast. Come hungry, though, the portions are massive. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast but make sure you have lots of time to spare. Slow service. 40 minutes to get our meal. Food was average for the price. Ordered eggs Benedict. Eggs were soft as requested, sauce was good, muffin under toasted and thin slices of ham flopped across the top of both muffins, with no grilled flavour. Potatoes were ok. Portion sizes were great. Amazing place! Amazing service!! Cindy was delightful!!! The food was incredible. We stopped on the way home from a hockey tournament in Ottawa. Perfect late morning breakfast spot. Highly recommend. Great menu options too!
Penny's is the best place to go for great home-cooked meals. The Staff are super friendly and the service is great.

Stopped in for breakfast. Outstanding orange juice! Good coffee. Eggs Benedict (the standard type) with hashbrowns good and plentiful serving of the potatoes. Eggs, sausage, toast and hashbrowns also good. Friendly service. Very clean.
We have driven by this restaurant probably 100 times on the way to the cottage and finally decided to stop for breakfast. Wondering now why we waited so long. Absolutely delicious! Great atmosphere with very friendly staff. Try the sausages. The best.
