"Ordered subs online and my mom went in to pick them up. She was screamed at by the 2 miserable girls working saying that if she ordered online she would have to wait as they are busy. Which is totally fine but why scream at my mom? Then they questioned her as to why she wanted her subs grilled.. they said they don't understand what grilling a sub means and got upset with her. I also asked for all subs to be made on white but was given herb and cheese. There's no need to be miserable and yell at your customers who are spending their money at your restaurant. Please get some happier staff!!"

"I Grow up admiring this wonderful old castle and my grandfather helped build it. It is hidden behind trees and up on a hill that could do with some lighting. I went to have dinner while on my holiday from Toronto. The building is very beautiful. Quaint and has some mid evil charm. The dining room was clean and the decor was plain. No charm could be found. It was very hot and we asked to have the windows open. We were the only customers there. The waiter was dressed in shorts and a t shirt, which I found Boring. He was curt and really had no interest in us as customers. We ordered the expensive salmon with no sauce and the waiter asked us why we like our salmon with no sauce. (Odd) We asked for bread and we were told " no bread service" he didn't try to sell us wine with our meal. We actually felt like it was an impositionTo serve us. Not ambiance could be found. We were very disappointed. We had hoped that this was going to be a creative and delighted journey back to mid evil times or just plain interesting. Finally the meal arrived. Fresh salmon, fresh potatoes and string beans and carrots. I have eaten in many restaurants and I have never eaten such delicious fresh vegetables. Cooked to perfection and spiced just right. The salmon was melt in your mouth wonderful, I totally forgot about the surroundings and enjoyed this wonderful home cooked meal that was obviously prepared by a chef with some experience. For the two meals and tip it was 65. Canadian dollars. My final review. Hire professional staff. Change your atmosphere and I Guarantee you that the Castle will flourish. I would travel a good distance to eat that good food again."

"The star rating is not suitable for this. while eating is very good, the prizes are waayyy of the charts. it is discouraging. the same meal at one of the local competitors was half price and equal if not better than the meal we had. history or not history. That was the last time we left."
