"I feel sad writing this review. I've always been a huge fan of Is Donburi, but the last three times I've been here I have left feeling really disappointed. To be fair, since this store has opened I haven't actually been back to their first store so I do wonder if it's this store being not very good rather than in general IS Donburi' not being good. The new menu is just not as good....the ramen is just a no no and rice dishes just tastes soggy. Teriyaki tofu used to be the best! And now the tofu isn't even crispy. "Yum yum yum...My GF and I shared a total of 8 dishes tonight, the seafood in particular was tremendous! The beef cheek soup to die for, the Tataki was exceptional, the duck breast magnificent. Fantastic for an intimate meal, cosy, quiet and romantic. Staff are very attentive, timing between courses was fantastic all in all a pleasure."
