When in Perugia, we always stop a few times at Caffe Bonazzi for some delicious wine and conversation with Maria Teresa (Teri). Snacks and sandwiches are available also. View all feedback.

What Elisa Marchetti doesn't like about Caffe Bonazzi:
Rude and dirty. Coffee served in a dirty cup, and instead of apologizing, insults and screams. Going Home! Avoid like the plague! Evil and dirty. Coffee served in dirty cup, and instead of apologize, insults and screams. It's all right. To avoid the plague! View all feedback.

Such a lovely place, the woman was wonderful. The food was just what we needed at 500pm/1700hrs when all was closed. We won't need dinner tonight!

"We visited Antica Norcineria three times whilst in Perugia at the end of March, and enjoyed each visit. The host was very friendly, spoke good English and was very tolerant of our terrible Italian, and enjoyed taking us through the food and drink on offer, but also giving us tips on where to visit locally. Drink selection was focused on a limited selection of carefully chosen drinks. We drank the house wine (very reasonable, especially for the quality) and tried a couple of the local beers. All were great and it was nice to try some of the locally sourced craft beers from Perugia and Assisi. We had lunch here on one of the visits. I had a platter of the meat and cheese on offer. I chose the €12 medium platter which was huge, probably plenty for two, and allowed me to try all that was on offer. My girlfriend, who is vegetarian, had a panini with a selection of roasted vegetables and cheeses. It was very nice. She had hoped to have the spinach cannelloni, however it had run out for the day. Not the end of the world. Set up is a bit interesting very much an informal setting, where you order and collect your drinks and food from the counter and set own your table, due to the lack of a restaurant license. We liked how casual it was, however if you're looking for something sophisticated, beyond good food and wine, this is probably not for that occasion. Overall, really enjoyed our visits and would definitely recommend popping in for an aperitif."

"This place seems popular with locals. unfortunately our experience wasn’t good my steak was barely warm room temperature, whilst my partner’s pork steak was burned. both inedible. the only slight saving grace was the tartare"
