This restaurant is located in the Great Northern hotel. The dining area is in an elegant period room with plenty of space between tables. We are not normally a great fan of hotel restaurants but we found this one to be extremely good. The service was exceptionally good. We were invited to a Christmas party. The hotel and venue was good, well the food was very poor. Starters tomato soup cold ,main course veg cold and under cooked so hard you couldn't cut it the stuffing well just a mush, brussels didn't get any was told they where like bullets, some people got a splash of gravy others there plate was swimming.
