great atmosphere, great music and eating was so good. had the bark and it was real bark not the processed product that they usually get, and the heavy was heavenly. the salmon was perfectly cooked and the skin was really crispy. recommend this place read more.

Edit,...In fairness I should say since posting this review in Oct 20, I understand it has changed owners, I only hope for their sake they haven't retained the cook or bar staff. As we couldn't get out for our anniversary due to lockdown, we opted for a take out from the Packhorse. I never thought I'd say this because I didn't think it possible but I've had better meals in a Hungry Horse for less than half the price.... read more.
