What Roxanne Morissette doesn't like about Matsu Sushi:
Matsu used to be the best place in Peterborough to get al la carte Sushi before the all-you-can-eat ones came on the scene. Based on that, I thought we'd stop in for some takeout and I wanted to try some genuine Korean Ramen. I knew something was amis when my soup arrived and it was a convenience product. Literally mr. I go to the Park st location every time I am in Peterborough. Excellent, fresh sushi rolls and great service. It is also cheaper than the east city location. Lunch special bento boxes are all amazing and priced right. All Korean dishes authentic including BiBimBap, stews and ribs. Highly recommended for everyone, even those who don’t like sushi. read moreMatsu in Peterborough used to be known as the best spot in town for a la carte sushi before the rise of all-you-can-eat options. Recently, some customers have found the food to be disappointing and overpriced, especially when compared to AYCE sushi places in the area. While some dishes like the seafood soup and Korean specialties receive praise for flavor and authenticity, others fall short in taste and portion size. The service at Matsu is generally friendly and welcoming, with some exceptions in terms of communication barriers. Despite mixed reviews, Matsu continues to be a popular choice for many diners looking for fresh sushi and traditional Korean dishes in a cozy atmosphere.
Nice authentic ambiance reminiscent of family restaurants in Japan. The Nabe options are a delicious choice on cold winter nights.
