I have always loved church’s chicken! that was the favorite restaurant of my deceased vater, her jalapeños paprika and jalapeños bomber were his favorite menus. It had been years since I had gotten food from here until I stopped by to give it a shot. Driver through speaker doesn't work. Sign says read the menu then pull up to window to order. I went inside to order. Food was great, hot and fresh. Inside of the place could definitely use a deep clean and updating. All and all, not bad. read more.

The chicken was fried too hard, but the Okra was delicious. It looked like only two people work. During this visit it was much better, but it always depends on...

The chicken was freshly fixed. Nice hot. For the Peach Cobbler. The picture deceived. They put a cookie in a cup of some peaches. The price wasn't worth it.

"My wife and I had an amazing experience at The Brickhouse Run tonight. I had been wanting to give a try for quite some time and I 'm glad we finally went. Outward appearances seemed on track with the traditional British pub that The Brickhouse Run is modeled after. When you enter, that vibe carries throughout the interior as well. It 's not a huge restaurant, as you 'd expect from the Old Towne Petersburg historic buildings. Half of the restaurant area is dedicated to the pub/bar and the other half for the dining room. Hostess and waitstaff were very friendly and attentive during our entire experience. The menu had plenty choose from with traditional British pub food like Bangers and Mash, Fish and Chips, etc. as well as interesting seasonal fare like Duck a l 'orange and Acorn Squash with optional protein add-ons. We started with the Sweet Potato Perogies which were essentially a savory sweet potato and cheese mini pie , less like traditional perogies but definitely tasty. I then elected for the Duck a l 'orange while my wife chose the Petersburger. I tried a bite of her burger which featured a the typical lettuce, cheddar, and bacon but also a unique onion jam and pub sauce that really set it apart. It was delicious. My Duck a l 'orange was perfectly cooked and amazingly tender and surrounded by a great sweet potato puree and a delectable helping of Brussels sprouts. The experience was really amazing. If there were anything worth acknowledging as a downfall, it would have to be that the dining room was chilly. We ultimately chalked that up to the older building though. All in all, great date night spot and we 'll certainly be back."

"Had the brisket sandwich with optional Slav. it's one of the best I had at BBQ joints. the maisbrot was cake-like, very fine and sweet. like most maisbrot, and was on my family. the makkaroni and cheese side was good except she had too much heat. I like to taste pasta and cheese. good sweet tea (and they are far south enough they can only ask for tee)."
