sweet dixie’s is not a restaurant because the 1st reviewer would let them believe. they have sweet dixie’s confused with the dixie restaurant, a few buildings down. sweet dixie’s is an attractive business with antiques, house decoration, soaps, cards and a little of everything. they also carry many specialties, chocolate, nuts, cakes, tee and many rehearsals. I was very excited about trying this local mom and pop type restaurant (because of the reviews and hearing co-workers mention they had eaten here). I have no idea how the ratings are this high. I will never visit this place again, a waste of money. Breakfast for four was almost $70. One of four orders was wrong. Smaller than I thought it would be but it has been around a while. Omlette specials are definitely different. Hot dogs are good. Hot dog chili is great.
This was such a great place to dine in! As soon as I walked in, we were greeted with such politeness! All of the staff members were very friendly and showed such great hospitality! We had the honor of being served by Mrs. Penny and she was truly a joy! Such an amazingly sweet person and she did a phenomenal job! This is a very unique place with an antique like decor ! The food was very good as well! I had the salmon burger with some sides and loved it!! It was fresh, well seasoned, and a nice size. I overall enjoyed my experience there and would certainly return when visiting the area. The prices were very reasonable!! Highly recommend!

I had the chilli omelette, it lacked flavor and the chilli seemed to be flavored with cinnamon. Who wants cinnamon flavored eggs
Food didn’t take long to come out so why was everything cold?!?!. I got the waffle combo with a side of home fries and they were the worst looking home potatoes I’ve ever seen. The worst of all was the coffee was trash, but a better brand please
