(never trust under 700 reviews In a real world place is 3.8 and being very kind, Lunenburg has got to have better places other than the Knot pub the place which only locals recommend! "Excellent meal at the beach pea! started with tuna tartare that was fresh and flavorful. continued with the housemade squid ink pasta with fresh seafood. scallops and shrimp were perfectly cooked, pasta was light and the red sauce was well balanced. merguez sausage is delicious but this pasta would have been just as good with just the seafood."

"We were in Mahone Bay for the day, and wanted to try somewhere new to eat. We found this place on Google Maps (imagine! Ha! , and with over 300 reviews and above 4.5 we figured it was a safe bet and we were right! It is a small town diner at its finest. If you're looking for fancy things and high prices this isn't the right place for you. But if you like home cooked food, friendly and attentive staff, and delicious coconut cream pie in a completely unassuming spot on the side of the highway Blarney Stone's got you! My husband had the donair burger and didn't say a word the whole time he was eating it (that says a lot . He asked for some hot sauce on the side, and said theirs was so good he literally ate it till the last drop! He got it as a platter which included fries and coleslaw and we ended up bringing over half the fries home it was such a generous portion. I had the chicken burger with onion rings. The burger itself was very delicious! Proper chicken too which I appreciate. I did ask for some wing sauce on the side which was on our bill. I am happy to pay for extras but its always nice to know first if there's a cost associated with it. I can tell they keep their fryer oil clean which is so, so important. Their coconut cream pie easily ranks in my top 5. (I have it everywhere I go so that is a significant compliment, ha! . We will definitely be back hour drive and all."
