What Mark Sickmiller doesn't like about Beards Brewery:
Went at 5:30pm on a Thursday in March. Very quiet when we arrived. Quiet as in- not many customers, no ambient music, no TVs. Ordered a flight and a pint, a Sweet Spicy pizza, breadsticks, and a hot dog kids meal. Breadsticks and pizza were excellent.Kids meal was as expected. Beer was okay, too sweet, almost like it didn't fully ferment. This is a brewery where the food isbetter than the beer. Workers were friendly.... View all feedback.
Barts Brewery was a great place to have a drink and dinner. You have a wide selection of homebread beer and apple wine. Your menu is also very good. I HIGHLY recommend the sausages, we have 2 of them while we were there! The service was top Notch and the atmosphere was very warm and welcoming. Do not forget to sneak a reversible coosie on the way out!
Enter your unique gift shop with the coolest selection of ceramic cups. The dining area presented a large atmosphere with large windows and even with most tables full, it was not too loud. They have a beautiful selection of in-house beer and lemons. Fun selection of special sodas for the children. The root beer was delicious. We share the Hemingway sandwich and had two orders from the Sausage Dip. So delicious! Visit U.P., but come back to Petoskey.

We love Beards Brewing and try to go every time we're in town. You have a wide selection of beer and surprisingly ingenious food for a brewery! The whole building is really cool and has a very comfortable, welcoming feeling for it. It was too cold to eat outside, both times we were here, but we love to eat outside if the weather was more hospitable. Note: The food app is a little tricky (at least it was for me). If you order a pizza, it comes with a mouthwater 14” But it doesn't tell you that everywhere. I clicked on the only crust option I thought I had to get a 10” gluten-free crust and ended, instead. I really enjoyed it, but my husband complained all the time since he went all the other, beautiful 14" pizza chests since we went to haha. So do not select a crust option in the app unless you want gluten-free.
We loved this place! Everything from the beers, to the food, to the staff, to the atmosphere was great! We spent the afternoon playing cards and watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend
