When I saw how beautiful this was weingut, I decided to suggest my friend at the place. laura, jill and lily were amazing! They helped me organize the surprise. the wee and the beer are exceptional, the board of cheese and meat was excellent, and the outside deck is super comfortable with a great view of the weinberg. Food and wine were good. The four staff members basically ignored us when our group stepped up to the bar. Being our first visit there, the staff did not offer any information about the winery or the menu until we called one of them out of their personal chat session. View all feedback.

"This Inn is one of our favorite places to go in the entire United States. We have traveled quite a bit and always talk and reminisce about our visits at the Terrace Inn. It’s such a fun place, it is quiet and when you step through the doors you are stepping back to a time when people actually speak to each other, where you walk through a house quietly and marvel at the architecture and history between the walls. Every room is decorated differently With fanciful quilts, and bright colors, again reminiscent of the era. We pick a different room each time we stay. We have stayed there many times over the last 40 years, and never have we had a bad experience. The rooms are impeccably clean, as is the entire Inn. Keep in mind it is a very old historical Inn, it is not ultra modern which is its charm. There are amenities, such as Wifi and Cable TV , but there is also a beautiful Room on the main floor that has a fireplace and books, where you can sit and read or enjoy a nice conversation. A couple of things that really stand out to us, one year we stayed it was my husband‘s birthday and the staff baked him a surprise cake. Another special day, we had breakfast on the front porch and they had someone playing hammered dulcimer music. As my husband and I are getting older and he is disabled, on our most recent stay, we had chosen a room on the second floor but then realized when we got there that he could not climb the stairs. The staff quickly noticed our predicament and offered to Exchange our room for one on the main floor where we had a beautiful room and a wonderful stay. Bottom line, this is a great place to stay if you’re looking for something quaint yet elegant, with a relaxing atmosphere, wonderful owners and staff. PS, the restaurant is excellent too!"

"Ordered the forest floor soup and it was great. Served hot, tasted great. Crab cakes were good, complimentary potatoes were cooked perfectly. Acorn squash, quinoa was cooked excellently, lamb was great, and the curry sauce really topped it off. Pricewas in line with the quality of the food and service. Not to mention the view was great too."
