The vegan options here are outstanding! I had the Po Young, a marinated tofu sandwich, and the Seitan wings, which were definitely the star of the meal. We also enjoyed the loaded vegan fries and there were many other tempting dishes we didn't get to try. I can't emphasize enough how amazing the wings were—one portion is generous enough to comfortably share among three or even four people! View all feedback.
What Marissa P doesn't like about Khyber Pass Pub:
This place was just mediocre. The slightest touch of the table and it wobbled- very light and so were the chairs. The waitress was good. The food was alright. I got a half shrimp Po boy and a creole salad. The Po Boy wasn't bad but I wasn't liking the salad. They did not have a simple house salad but I wanted greens. The other person ordered a burger that came with no fries or salad. I would have liked it if our food... View all feedback.
Had the side wings (both sauces) and vegan pulled pork sandwich both were delicious. I'm still taking the wings. we were really impressed by the options.
The side wings are absolutely perfect. also the “powder” was good, but no man could deny that the wings are incredible. menu is well marked, service was great and beerlist also not disappointed!
My husband I had lunch here while sightseeing in the Old City area of Philly. Although this pub is not a vegan establishment, it had lots of vegan options, including chili, nachos, Vega mixed meat pies, and several types of sandwiches. My husband raved about his vegan BBQ, and my vegan cheesesteak was very tasty, although not very similar to the traditional version. Our waitress was friendly and accommodating.
Great location, impressive selection of draft beers, and a decent list of delicious vegan food to boot. Their seitan wings are out of this world both in terms of texture and flavor. The only thing I would not recommend so far is the Death by Chocolate cake which we found to be somewhat dry.
It’s a good place to go if you’re with non veg people.
