The atmosphere of the restaurant can range from dark and gloomy to warm and welcoming, depending on the night. From amazing lobster mac and cheese to perfect steaks, there are definitely standout dishes at Lou Birds. Overall, Lou Birds seems to have something for everyone, whether you're looking for a casual meal or a special dining experience.
Good food, good service. Pleasant outdoor eating area.
This restaurant is without a doubt where I can find my favorite chicken pot pie. It may be surprising to find such a delicious dish at a bar restaurant. The pot pie comes with a flaky and tasty puff pastry, which is why I always order an extra one! However, the lobster mac and cheese was a bit bland in my opinion.
The bar drinks were delicious but the food was mediocre. The fish entree had a bitter taste and unpleasant smell. The servers were attentive.
The draft beer was served in bottles and the food tasted like it was from a vending machine. The noise level was low, likely due to the fact that we were the only patrons in the restaurant.
Sat outside, filthy and loud. More of a bar than restaurant.
