I have been a frequent customer of Barro’s at multiple locations for many years. Over that last couple years, I have seen a decline in both service and pizza quality. This year (2024) has been particularly poor in both areas. Most recently, I waited behind a single customer for over 10 minutes while the order taker went at a snail’s pace to take their order. The other front line workers just ignored me and others waiting to order. I just left and went to a competitor. This was 7th Street and Coral Gables. My latest experience at the Power Road location in Mesa was getting a cold pizza. I think I’m done with Barro’s.
The pizza itself is bomb but the website has been challenging to order through the last 3 times I've tried to order. Today I recieved a message stating my order was placed and would be ready in 20 minutes but upon arrival (because they don't deliver) it was MIA. I had the opportunity to sit in their restaurant for 20 minutes waiting for it to be prepared. Looks like we may be shifting to Streets of New York right up the street!
There switch to post mates has been bad. Don’t allow to customize half of a pizza.
I had a disappointing encounter with the manager, BRANDON. He displayed rudeness, dismissiveness, and was argumentative. Despite spending $50 on what turned out to be mediocre pizza and wings, I ended up feeling unwell. While I didn't even want to keep the food, I expected a refund as a minimum gesture. Unfortunately, the experience left me with unpleasant memories, especially since I still have the uneaten wings. I'm even willing to return them, as they were far from satisfactory. Overall, it was a regrettable experience. Shame on Brandon he suckz. If you speak with Cristian make sure he gives out the right information. Apparently hes in training and doesn't know what he's talking about.
