Delicious food in a fantastic location. prefer a few more non-pork options (and service was a little slow, but it was a busy night). Very nice server, nice dinner overall. Also, on a page note, I really enjoyed the text-back service they had for checking into the restaurant. Beautiful touch during downtown Phoenix View all feedback.
What William Klein doesn't like about The Arrogant Butcher:
The service was very disappointing. The waiter forgot to bring a drink we ordered, despite us mentioning that it was a birthday celebration. It felt like a bother to ask the waiter for anything. Overall, we were not satisfied with the service. View all feedback.
The menu is wonderful and the food and drink options are amazing. I tried the short rib stew and it was exceptional!
We absolutely adored the atmosphere and the food was scrumptious. The service was excellent, very attentive despite the restaurant being busy, and the staff was kind throughout our visit.

The following night, we tried two other restaurants but were not given good service at either place, even though they were not busy. We ended up back at The Arrogant Butcher because we knew we would receive top-notch service. Graham, our server this time, recommended the spinach and artichoke dip (as Stephanie had) and we also tried the burrata radiatore and BBQ short ribs. The food was once again fantastic, and the service was exceptional. If you find yourself in Phoenix, be sure to stop by The Arrogant Butcher for an unforgettable dining experience.
Make sure to make reservations or be prepared to wait, but it's totally worth it. The Filet Mignon was the best I've ever had, but the loaded mashed potatoes were dry; next time I'll try the truffle fries or Mac n cheese instead. The service was excellent and it's a great spot for a date night. The atmosphere was chill and relaxing, with the option to watch the game. Just go - if I could, I'd give it 6 stars!
