I brought my Mother and Aunt to the Compass Restaurant and we had the most wonderful relaxed evening. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was soothing. At the end of the night my Aunt, who was visiting from New York stated that the evening was one she would always remember. The atmosphere and view are outstanding. My Prime Rib was the best I had ever had! I would definitely recommend it for a special intimate nigh... View all feedback.
What Jess the Blessed doesn't like about The Compass Arizona Grill:
I was very excited to dine in the Compass Restaurant atop the City of Phoenix. It was nice and a different experience. However we attended lunch/ dinner during the hours the sun was setting and got a lovely view of the sun in our eyes while the restaurant was rotating. Despite the slow rotation, I also found myself to be slightly motion sick. Despite the slow turning, the service was slow and I found myself waiting f... View all feedback.
Pretty impressed, was going in with low expectations as places like this rely more on location and lack in food and service. But seafood was cooked perfectly, David our waiter was steller. Cocktails were great. Plus the view was amazing. Great memoryfor our Anniversary.
Food was okay, certainly nothing memorable and didn't really match the amazing ambiance and views that restaurant offered. Service was welcoming and attentive, and I certainly appreciate that. I also thought rotating around 360 was a neat experienceand not nauseating as i expected. Also the views of Phoenix and natural landscape surrounding the city are unmatched, so worthchecking out even if just for a cocktail or soft drink
My wife took me here for my birthday, it was over the top! We had a ribeye, cooked to perfection and tasty. I added a lobster tail and my wife had the shrimp. The mashed potatoes were great. Our waitress was Taylor and she was excellent. We got someCreme brulee, it was the best I ever had. Don't have any hesitation when reserving a table here.
The view was fantastic! The service was ok, not what I would expect at this price point though. The food was not impressive at all, so I was disappointed in the meal which was appetizers and main courses for three adults. The fries were dry, the steak wasunderwhelming with no flavor, the lobster tail was tiny. The drinks sounded good, but had very little flavor at all as well. Ifyou are interested in the view, maybe try for drinks, but the food leaves a lot to be desired and the menu has limited options.
Amazing visit. There were 9 of us for a friends birthday party, and the server was very nice, the food was absolutely delicious! I got the braised short ribs and oh my was it delicious! The cocktails were quite expensive but they packed a punch. For dessertI got the red velvet cheese cake and it was slightly underwhelming. I expected it to be more red velvety, but the cheese cakewas delicious regardless. We got the charcuterie board as an appetizer and it was great along with the complimentary rolls tokeep us occupied while we waited for our food. It has a lot of decadent options. Keep in mind, if you go here, you will likelyspend about $100/person. Also the view was beautiful as the sun was setting.
