Viking from Phuket Menu

What User likes about Viking:
friendly and attentive staff, well presented and delicious food, reasonable prices, varied menu. I tried this restaurant once and eat every day for a week there. 5 minutes to walk from Kata Beach and close to Kata Market. highly recommended! View all feedback.

What User doesn't like about Viking:
My girlfriend and I tried out this restaurant a few days ago. She had a club sandwich, but after 3 bites she discovered a couple small ants between the layers. She did not want to finish the food obviousy, I brought this to attention of the waiter but was pretty much dismissed. We did not recieve a new dish nor was it taken off reduced from the final bill. I am not a fan of Scandinavian food. But I like their Frikadeller with mashed potatoes and red cabbage. Nice staff too.

"We came around 12:00 p.m. When we got there we were told all the eggs had run out. Almost every dish consists of egg. This was already a big minus point for us. They also didn't have a single yoghurt/fruit dish anymore. So the choice was very small. In the end we only drank coffee with 1 piece of cake. This was already very pricey, but to our surprise, 10% service was added on top of this. We were not told about this and had to ask for an explanation about this ourselves. As it turned out, if you are inside they charge 10% extra. So in conclusion the coffee and cake were fine, but the prices are ridiculous and the stock of products is also worthless."
