This café has an excellent location off Piazza Cavalli, the main square of Piacenza. The outdoor tables are a great attraction in fine weather but the interior rooms, which hark back to an age of elegance, are now a shadow of their former selves. It still is a pleasant place for a drink but it has lost the period charm it once had. View all feedback.
Almost an historical place, on the Piazza Cavalli, in a very pld building. They serve nice cocktails and snack, ideal for a pause.
The building on Piazza Dei Carvalli is a magnificent place to have a wonderfully fresh hot and cold buffet lunch out of the sun inside the magnificent old building or on the terrace outside the bar. We have been there twice now in the last couple of years and on both occasions the food has been superb, the wine very drinkable and the service very, very good. It has always been only local people who seem to eat here which should also tell you something. The coffee we had after was also excellent.

Great place to have a drinks and food. The owner is a young guy very pleasant to deal with same as the bartenders- waitresses. He has a very good happy hour price for day and evening by providing great food with your drinks. Around $13 for lunch food and $10 for evening. Good spread of cold cuts Parmeggiano cheese and some hot pasta with other salads. Place is located in Piazza Cavalli which is the main square of city which is also close to few museums.
I and my husband enjoyed our late lunch sandwich. also the people offered us to stay closer to the heating, so it will keep us warm.
