we as a company have met every year first week in the januar marketing. we start at gasthof stockewirt and have been here for five years. the owners meet all our requests when it comes to data protection and meeting agreements, also eat and drink. and much flexibility to keep this meeting here. the price is one of the main reasons why we stay here, but not just that. pure room, not luxury or high standard, but enough... popular restaurant on lunch with long-running and hiking and families for lunch. right next to the long run tracks. friendly helpful staff. delicious soup.

"An absolutely gorgeous building in the most stunning location we were lucky to get such a beautifully clear day, not a cloud in the sky! The staff were fantastic incredibly friendly and made you feel instantly comfortable. He came and chatted to us...in excellent english (with my shameful lack of skill in german and told us lots about the local area and even brought over puzzles and games. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, with some fantastic local dishes served. Highly recommend! NB If you are intending to drive, the dirt track up is not for the faint hearted and is quite hard to find (don't rely on google maps it takes you the wrong way coming from Schladming. Head to Mandling and ascend from there Any small cars will probably struggle. However I've read reviews of them coming to pick people up half way down the mountain, which is easy to believe considering how helpful they were! This would be a fantastic place to stop mid-walk, which we intend to do before we leave. Don't miss out if you are in the area"

"Important notice for returning guests with children. Save your time, children are not welcome anymore (you can Google it). Left an excellent review in but now I have to make a correction for that. In we dined here several times (everything was perfect)...and every time we received compliments about how well behaved our children were. Nice to hear, didnt pay much attention to it then, but apparently they had bad experiences with other children?. Forward to this year, we tried to make a reservation, but it was ‘full’.... every...single....day.... Until I tried to make a reservation for adults only, every day was possible. Apparently management has chosen to prefer to serve grumpy people who don’t like the joy of life around them. I understand that not all children are well-mannered and their parents should take more responsibility. But in the end I prefer even the surroundings of those ‘unmannered’ people who have the future, instead of ‘has beens’ who are bitter when they are reminded of the discrepancy between their big plans decades ago and the person they have become. Of course Peter Rosegger is free to chose their customers and to be honest, based on the excellent experiences of the past I would have never guessed they would chose this. Is there a new management maybe?"
