When circling the island of Pico you won't encounter many restaurants.And this one is a hidden gem, right by the lighthouse of Ponta da Ilha, in the middle of nowhere.It's a simple restaurant and tables are very close to each other. We can't comment the food. We got there and the place was busy with some tables left. We tried to get in touch with someone but we got completely ignored by the staff. We stood there for 5 mns since some locals entered. We finally were all told that there were no table left. The local complains and negotiated a table for later on. Great restaurant near the water with plenty of choices for food and drink. The Sangria was really good. The staff were really friendly as well.
Fantastic service and helpful knowledge of the food from Fabio. 4 people for lunch and all of us were very happy with everything. Food was excellent.
