We had lunch in the dining room because it was cold outside, and our opinion wasn’t therefore influenced by the incredible castle just across the street. The staff were friendly and the food was both top quality and great value for money (it wasn’t cheap but it was well worth it). A mid afternoon coffee and dessert. As many other places were at capacity we sat in the entry of this bustling restaurant and had coffee and clafoutis. Our double espressos tasted burnt and the clafoutis was dry and very ordinary.
