"Such beautifully created courses and plate settings. Tasteful mouthfuls. The only reason I gave 1 less star is because it is a long wait before the food gets to your table from the kitchen. Other than that this restaurant is lovely and is a esthetically pleasant."

"We ordered Pizzas for the family yesterday, they were really really bad..covered in layers of cheddar cheese to the point where it was drenched in oil and unedible. The oil was literally running down my arm, and my husband woke up in the middle of the night with the runs. I did not eat mine, thank goodness. Sometimes less is more!!"

"Had an amazing mothers' day breakfast at Lakeside. Delicious food at reasonable prices. Excellent service from owners and staff. Warm and friendly atmosphere on this cold Maritzburg day. On making a reservation the owner actually called me back when they missed my call, even though they were so busy. What incredible service!"
