"Here for lunch for your birthday you do not have large group bookings (11 people). The Mains came out 2 hours after the order. Some had to starve earlier. Eat over the price for what was served. "Would like to give five stars as I understood all the dishes in Bistro Vilja were also available as vegan We loved some of the starters: Jerusalem artichoke served with delicious creamy sauce and vegan snails from mushrooms with vegan blue cheese. Also the main course, mushroom cake was delicious. And the vegan cream brulee for dessert"

"We ordered metes for two, snails for two and oven lamb pots for two. The food was good and the portions were big. One pot would have been enough for us. There was no way I could eat it, even though the lamb was so tender and good. The vodka must have been something Raki... "The location of the cafe is quite nice and the adjoining tower offers nice views. But the cafe itself is a bit overhyped. Selection is very limited and most people really choose to buy just the traditional doughnuts with some coffee. On summer weekends there seems to be a long queue always so time you visit on weekdays (safe corona distance is impossible... . On weekends the very limited parking space is also a problem, as the city of Tampere is said to aggressively fining cars that are parked nearby..."

"I ate a meze platter with falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, chickpeas, baba ganoush and stuffed grape leaves. All the components were very tasty and the portion size was perfect."
