"My airbnb host recommended this place for me as homemade pasta and traditional food. I can undoubtedly say this is one of the best in Pisa. Their specialty is thick spaghetti, we love it, tastes absolutely amazing. The portions are really big, and can be easily shared. The place is cozy and can get busy really fast. Reservation is definitely necessary or comes when they just open. I didn’t make reservations and came around the open time. After 20’, the place was full. "The best sandwiches in Pisa are no longer there. Rep : edit: since my review was removed, I imagine at the request of the managers, and probably because it didn 't really contain a review, I add that I also went there after the restyling , and I was extremely disappointed. The burgers were nothing special, and the beer selection has gotten a lot worse too. Finally, the boy who served us had a teacher-like attitude while explaining things to us, which was quite unpleasant. I strongly advise against it."

"Eternal waiting times, we started eating at 1pm and at 5pm we still hadn't finished, we left before the coffee so as not to have to wait any longer. Nice location, dishes not bad but they should speed up the service which is really too long. Rooms: 2 Service: 1 Location: 4"

"This is a great little spot on a square, a bit off the beaten track for tourists where there are more locals than tourists. We started with a mix of appetizers of fried polenta, onion marmalade, cheese and I'm not sure what else, but it was a delightful experience for the palate. This food is why you come to Italy. I had the Tagliata di Cinta Senese (fried pork) and it was exceptional. If this was what I could get in Italian restaurants in the States, I would order more than just pizza. Alas, you have to spring for a trip to Italy to expand your horizons in Italian cuisine."
