What User likes about Trattoria Escondida:
After a lovely walk( less then 1/2 mile) along the river we were warmly greeted by Melissa (co-owner with husband who is chef) in a big bright welcoming space. The strawberry lemonade put the biggest smile on my 11 yr old's face that never waned through an appetizer of sweet potato fries, amazing pumpkin ravioli and house made fettuccine...ending the meal was a freshly baked still slightly warm lemon meringue pie to... We made the tricky journey to this restaurant because of the rave reviews on trip advisor but were exceptionally disappointed by the very cold reception we received even though the owner was there when we arrived. He never acknowledged our existence. The waitress was lovely but we did not enjoy our experience. View all feedback.

When the weather is nice you can also have something outside, and there's a counter where you can sit down and enjoy. The seat / dining area invites you to linger and extensively enjoy.
