Kisoji has become my favourite Japanese restaurant for three reasons:1) Friendly service - the staff are always friendly to me, even when I am picking up at a busy time. The chefs are happy and it makes for a better experience. 2) The food is amazing. The portions may be smaller and the prices slightly higher than your average sushi place, but the food is higher quality. I have never had a problem with my order, it i... View all feedback.
What Heinz-Günter Köster doesn't like about Kisoji Japanese Kitchen:
Had lunch at kisoji with my hubby. We both had salmon bento box. There was good and bad with our meal. As a appie we had ebi mayo. It was just okay and didn't like the batter which was like a fish and chip batter....I have had ebi mayo before at other restaurants and it is a very light and fluffy coating. The Miso soup was hot and tasty and liked the sashimi and tempura. We didn't like the salmon as it was tasteless.... View all feedback.
My favorite sushi restaurant of all time! the waiting staff, the chefs, the eating, the atmosphete and decor simply amazing. so welcoming and personal. everyone I brought here loved it absolutely. they change the menu, but even if something is removed, they make it for them. my faves are the jack cha han and the poke tuna. so delish! and the green tea cream bubble? yummy! literal a 45-minute walk from our house door. we are so happy to have this place in our hood.
For anyone who lives in the opposite, or even if they don't, they have to check this place! some of the best sushi and Japanese eat! we drive from poco to pitt meadows to eat here. never had a bad meal; the personal is great; the chefs are amazing; only around great culinary experience! highly recommended for all!
My wife and I have visited this little diamond since we moved 3 years ago to pit meadows. it looks very modern, simple and clean without being boring. several couples tables, family tables and two very long tables for several groups or a large party are in a wise to look room open and social without feeling cramped. eating is prepared in a traditional Japanese fashion, with the sashimi delicate, thin and not like the massive pieces that they can sometimes get in other sushi restaurants. also the rolls are very well made to look simple and elegant, but fool that they know there is a lot of skill in this cook with its trade. the way and wise how sushi should be done. the customer service from the kitchen side is very good, professional. the front end could be some improvement, maybe a professional approach, but in all honesty, it's not bad now. all in all, I would have to say that this place is a solid choice if they decide what to dinate sushi place, with most of the competition in this area below par, if not sincerely terrible.
This little jewel hidden in a lougheed strip mall, is heard and operated by a Japanese owner. all that I take there, raven over eating, including well-visited international visitors. the chef is very professional and the owner is very warm and Welcoming. the most important is eating. Japanese tradition with a knot according to vancouver specialties that are not traditional, but delicious all the same. I found it by chance and wanted only a bowl of mistsuppe. I stayed for the sashimi and since then I am a very loyal customer.
This is the best japanese restaurant I have ever been too.Service is quick and the food is soo delicious and everyone are soo friendly it feels soo good to be here. It is worth driving to this place. Thanks for the experience.
