I recently celebrated a friend's 21st birthday at this restaurant. The staff were incredibly kind and even gave us our first round of drinks on the house since it was our first time at a bar. What User doesn't like about Huntz's Tavern:
The 2 fish sandwiches were like rubber, absolutely rough! It went to the garbage after a bite. The Mac and the cheese for $5.00 is all half a cup of noodles with burnt cheese upstairs. $43.00 in the garbage. It's not a good choice for 2023. View all feedback.

The atmosphere was welcoming and the staff were very personable, making us feel right at home. It was nice to see that they knew other patrons by name. Unfortunately, they were out of wings on the night we visited, but a friend recommended them highly so I will definitely be back to try them. One thing to note is that it is a cash bar, but they do have an ATM on site for convenience.
The best old skool experience in Pittsburgh..... still have turtle soup
