"This place was perfect! The rooms were very clean and had really comfy beds. We stayed during the winter and rooms were very warm and toasty. They had a great selection for their continental breakfast too which was awesome before heading out for theday."

"We waited quite a bit and boy was it worth it. My grandmother said it was some of the best pancakes she's had in her life. I really enjoyed my beligan waffle with strawberrys."

"A charming bookshop/restaurant in the centre of the sweet little town of Rochester, Vermont. Home-cooked bagels are excellent and contain unusual aromas such as dill and rosemary. I want sandwiches to die. I only drink Decaf coffee and her dark Americano was as good as I ever had. Look — I misinterpreted the veggie creamy cheese as a vegan (wishful thinking). Of course not, it's just cream cheese with chopped vegetables. Not her fault. A wide selection of baked candy and fun restaurants throughout the bookshop and outdoors. For my colleagues Pescatarians, the smoked trout on a bagel with hummus and veggies is amazing."

"We have a new favorite restaurant! we've been looking for one. we recently enjoyed very good dinners, but that was all over them. eating here is mainly delicious and beautifully prepared and the setting and service were also excellent. last summer we visited a high time in the gasthof. the setting and eating were great at the time and we just learned that they have live music on Wednesday night. all in all, the barnard inn restaurant is simply fantastic. we'll be back soon!"
