Wonderful southern food. Great portions. Served piping hot! Reasonably priced. Easily the best gumbo in central New Jersey. Fantastic shrimp and grits. Non-alcoholic drinks available. I 'm a little disappointed, I 've order lunch here 3x in the last 3months. First, they never have corn bread and I get put on a special list for the next time I order to receive an extra slice. I 'm up to 3extra slices right now! I order the chicken shrimp gumbo which is a hit or miss with whoever cooks it, sometime it 's varys with spices-yesterday overload on old bay sprinkled on top, and different vegetable-yester... Honestly not Cajun no gumbo or anything actually Cajun. I had crab legs and some shrimp. Spent quite a bit and what I had was OK but I'm not going back.
One of my go-to places to grab some food. convenient location, neat, and very good customer service. I recommend this place!
