The waiter I had does not know how to use a payments terminal for taking a payment. He insisted my Debit Card was invalid. It was not. I told him that after PNC acquired my former bank (BBVA) they sent out new debit cards. They sent them out without the tap (contactless feature) but IT DOES have an EMV chip and it will work when inserted.
