"We visited on a Sunday around 1:30 pm after the lunch rush. I feel they must have been short staffed because for the area we were in, there was only one guy with appx. 8 tables. He seemed frazzled. Very, very nice but frazzled to where he would forget items we asked for like vinegar, extra BBQ sauce, salad dressing... Also, they were out of butter for the hush puppies. In a small town like that, I feel someone should have run up to the store and bought some.... You can't really enjoy the puppies without butter. All Southerners know that. Anyway, the food was pretty good. I had a salad, BBQ chicken w/creamed potatoes, and yams. My husband had a salad, hamburger steak w/ creamed potatoes and cabbage. The flavor was good and not overcooked. We will return on our next outing that way."

"I have to say how surprised I was at the cleanliness of the place. I was immediately greeted by the bartender when I sat at the bar. I asked what she recommended to eat as the menu had so many choices, her favorite was the baked spaghetti and meatballs, so she convinced me and I must say it was an excellent choice, the best I ever had."
