I got takeouts here and their portion is quite generous. It definitely did the job and filled my belly up. I got the chicken katsu combo and the price was reasonable. It took them about 10 minutes to make the order. View all feedback.
What Andrew A doesn't like about L&l Hawaiian Barbecue:
The restaurant is very disorganized with boxes and cases of drinks stacked on top of each other against the wall. Kinda dirty and doesn't look very welcoming. The cashier has no charisma. The one is Stockton is way better in terms of service and atmosphere.Service: 1/5 View all feedback.
Food was hot and fresh. The only negative is the inside needs to be reorganized and cleaned. Just kinda dingy and not very welcomingFood: 5/5
Used to dine here for the ribs for years, lately I noticed the meat being really chewy and tough. Tried it again the other day and confirming it’s chewy and tough. Quality has gone downhill and I am feeling the after effects of the chewy tough meat today on the porcelain chair.
L&L is always hit and miss, we just moved back from Oahu to bay area and try every hawaiian place we can. L&L off island is usually gross and this wasn't too big of an exception. Service is fine but the laulau was freezer burned and watery, a little tough. Musubi's were not great, rice was hard, not the authentic hawaiian food we try to find.
Been coming here for years they are consistent and tasty.Love the BBQ platter the spam musubis are great and so is the lumpia. Will always come here when I want Hawaiian. No other place compares in Pleasanton.Food: 5/5
Tried to give them a second chance but always gives nothing but a lot of fat on the meat and under cooked
