Really wholesome weekend visiting Rifugio Menaggio. Perfect overnight trip from Milan! It’s a 1 hour train to Varenna followed by 15 mins on a boat to Menaggio...

Probably the best kids friendly hike in the area. Great views of lake Como. Once you get to the refugio, try the carrot cake
