What Jay Daimler likes about North City Bakery:
I mainly go here for the fried chicken and chips which is almost always very good except for my last visit, the chicken was super salty it was like they spilt a whole shaker of the fry seasoning all over it. I also enjoyed the steak bacon and cheese pie and bacon egg croissant. As far as the desserts are concerned the cream donuts are a bit meh, I wouldn't buy them again. "Had a butter chicken medium and garlic Naan, sooo good. Possibly the best butter chicken I have had. I'm a Kiwi so I've had a lot of Butter Chicken. It was well presented in a take away bag, staff were friendly and efficient. You can see the kitchen when you order so you can see that the kitchen is clean and professional. Not the cheapest curry around but you get what you pay for. This place is on my list to revisit when I'm in wellington."

"My partner and I ordered the butter Chicken for takeout tonight. The rice was okay, but the Naan we ordered with it was dry and rubbery and the butter chicken tasted like straight tomato paste with some spice in it. To top it off, there was way to much residue water coming from the butter chicken. My partner and I get butter chicken often and decided to try this place tonight and were highly dissatisfied : Service: Delivery Meal type: Dinner"
