"A memorable evening We had been planning for several weeks to come and dine at Iodé for a friend 's 35th birthday. A female chef, a tempting, original culinary offering, close to home, a good restaurant in Vannes that we had not yet tried... everything was looking good and all week we were looking forward to this surprise at our friend ! I will quickly pass on the quality of the dishes served which were very good, with great technical mastery and great originality in the use of sea water. Perhaps a little pretentious and flashy cuisine but it was very well done. For the decor, the staging, nothing to say about the great class, everything is neat and done with taste. But unfortunately that’s not why the evening was memorable. From our arrival to the end of the meal, we never felt welcome in this place, the numerous derogatory remarks from the head waiter that 's how it happens in a gastronomic restaurant , this money is fell out of the truck? , don 't touch that speaking of dishes... , the total absence of exchanges and smiles, all four of us were very shocked by the welcome we received . Was it because we changed our reservation twice even though we left a message that was not listened to, and we still apologized, with the result being a pinched smile? the boss ? Didn 't we have the right outfits, the right appearance, the codes of good society? Did we have too flashy tattoos, too many piercings? We have never had to endure such a deplorable welcome, in all the good and great restaurants that we had the chance to discover, from Roellinger to Alain Passard, from Vannes to Nîmes, starred or not. Gastronomy only has value and reason for being in kindness for everyone, whatever their social background, and in the respect that is due to everyone. We bitterly regret our choice and the way this evening went, as well as having spent a small fortune without even a thank you or a goodbye from the omnipresent chef. Gourmet friends passing through or residents of Vannes, go your way. We highly recommend such good local restaurants where the quality of the dishes combines with hospitality, sharing, curiosity about others and exchange such as Tête en l 'air, Empreinte, or Le petit hotel on the open sea. "Lovely meal with a friend. Perfect place to catch up on a wet and cold day in Vannes. We ate from the lunch menu choosing a main and dessert. Main was an oxtail stew served on a bed of potato and swede mash. Melt in the mouth good. Dessert was a verrine, style tiramisu. Also tasty and rich. We each had a glass of wine. Not on the large side for the price! Slightly on the expensive side for lunch, but good fresh ingredients, well cooked. Well worth the visit. À bonus for me as I had my young Cocker Spaniel with me and he was allowed to sit quietly under the table no objections from staff and the other clients did even notice him."

"Réservation faite la veille par téléphone pour trois personnes avec arrivée prévue 12h 12h30 car nous arrivons de Lorient 47 km et je laisse mon nom.Ce midi nous arrivons avec notre amie, qui était notre invitée.NOUS N'AVONS PAS ETE MAL RECU MAIS PIRE, PAS RECU DU TOUT.Je connais le monde de la restauration pour donner suffisamment d'excuses lorsqu'il y a des petits problèmes.Pour le coup je remercie toute l'équipe au grand complet qui se trouvait à 12h à la terrasse du restaurant en train de prendre l'apéritif (peut-être un anniversaire à arroser je ne sais pas ?) pour nous avoir jeté comme des mal propres et de ce fait nous avoir permis de découvrir un superbe restaurant qui mériterait toutes les louanges du guide MICHELIN. Petit détail que je vais communiquer au MICHELIN car c'est avec le guide que j'avais choisi votre restaurant. MERCI ENCORE.Comme les bonnes et mauvaises critiques ne sont pas prises en compte par le responsable du restaurant (dixit le meme responsable) celles-ci vont à tous les CLIENTS encore non avertis."

"The impression offers a kitchen that I will name pleasant. Both owners are hot, their kitchen centered around flowers and herbs. Fresh and seasonal dishes. Everything was good, wisely seasoned and balanced in the mouth. Funny mouth to dessert. I feel like the chef doesn’t like working meat. In any case, the meat dish, a lamb, was less original and flowered than the rest. It was however succulent, just less original than the rest. I almost preferred a purely vegetarian dish. Basically: I recommend going!"
