We came to this restaurant for lunch simply because it was the only one open! However from walking through the door to leaving everything was first rate, we were very well received despite the restaurant being full. The food is typical traditional French cuisine with a plat du jour and a limited menu, the food is all simply and very well prepared and presented. The prices are very reasonable indeed and the service is also very authentic and friendly. I would definetly recommend this restaurant.
The quiet village of Ploubazlanec has few restaurants . We arrived at our hotel near lunch and were directed to this nearby restaurant. We arrived just as lunch was beginning and were seated immediately by a very friendly hostess who also turned out to be our server . The restaurant is small and clean . It appeared most of the other diners arriving were local regulars . Always a good sign in our estimation. We perused the menu carefully as we knew that as well as this quick lunch stop on our first day we would more than likely be returning here for our evening meal more than once while visiting the areas in and around Ploubazlanec. I'm pleased to say the menu with its daily change of specials was more than adequate to meet our needs . Pleasant place , friendly service , good food , reasonable prices .Who can ask for more ?
Back in Ploubaz for another enjoyable trip. This is a regular dining spot, and were welcomed again. We had Gambas a l'Indienne which was really delicious, if you don't mind getting your fingers soaked in the sauce opening the King Prawns. All part of the experience.
We had a delicious meal here. The menu was very interesting and all made from scratch right in the kitchen. The service was friendly
Our last evening in Brittany and very glad that we discovered Le val Marin (thanks again, Trip Advisor )!Extremely warm welcome - always a good start !Menu is kept to a relatively modest choice, in terms of numbers of dishes available. This makes life a lot easier however, as everything we tried was delicious !I have to say, restaurants that keep their menus simple and concentrate on quality and flavour get my vote every time...From the seafood terrine starter, to the brochettes de boeuf, mussels with spaghetti
