"How can I start? The staffing is very short staffed, every time I come the food be cold or lukewarm, out of certain items during the day, rude employees, always want to close the doors when the drive thru be extremely long, closed early for not wanting towork til 10, always want to don't cook anything fresh! If you don't want to work or show up for your shift close the businessdown and enjoy your laziness. 7 to 7 is not worth it especially if you on your lunch break waiting from 13 to 19 minutes for hotchicken. The management is sorry, heartless and cruel. If I was the corporate hire people off the streets and pay them to helpthese sorry businesses out. Very disappointing."

"We were two couples who took the opportunity to visit an area of NC which was unfamiliar to us. It was an excellent visit! The golf course has a great layout, and a myriad of tees to choose from something for everyone. Three of the greens were not in the best of shape. Would suggest converting from Bent Grass to Champions Bermuda, but the rest of the course was excellent. Worth noting, the fairways and tees were all excellent as were most of the greens. Lots of nice views of the Sound as well. The accommodation was excellent. Large screened-in porch with a nice setting area, three bedrooms (one Queen and 2 twin rooms) all with en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen well laid out and had everything we needed (but aluminum foil would have helped easing clean-up). We were in 122 and we didn't have a BBQ grill, which we were expecting, but got a long with out it. We ate in one night and found everything we needed to prepare the food we brought. We had lunch two days in the Shed. Had a fun, excellent server (Terry) who helped us make good choices. We enjoyed both meals and some of the beer choices as well. Just a side note, it is certainly worthwhile to explore Edenton, NC. It is a charming town with wonderful Albermarle Sound adjacent. Good Oyster Bar as well. We will make the 3-4 hour drive again to visit Scotch Hall."

"We thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant. The setting is historic and beautiful. The food...wow! My husband and I ordered the fried calamari, and it was so fresh, crispy and seasoned to perfection. Next, we shared the Captain's Platter. It was more than enough for the 2 of us. This dish was so flavorful and delicious. We were both very satisfied. I must add, the staff are extremely friendly. We live about an hour away, but will definitely visit The 51 House again!!!"
