I like that there is lots of seating/table area in this cafe and can see that they aim for the fine line between quality and offering produce at a reasonable price. It has always frustrated me that in Plymouth the average customer expects an over-sized product at a really low price. Quality always suffers as a result. I think there’s been a cafe here since this unit was built just up from Dingles more than half a century ago. Friary Mill with its main factory out at cattle down provides a consistent standard and range of everyday pasties, rolls and buns/cake etc. Prices feel just a little over average for Plymouth.
