"Lisa and Dave are so inviting that you could easily bask in their cosy, warm and friendly surroundings all day long. They truly create a very special place, somewhere that stays in your mind and sticks to your heart. Their food is fantastic. I find a small savoury selection is a true sign of a confident master chef. The patties are the very best I’ve tasted, the cheesey scone was delicious and the soup was packed with flavour! The cake selection is phenomenal even if you are full, take a mini selection of treats or a slice of cake home otherwise you will regret it! I fondly dream of a pattie, a good ol’mug of tea, whilst soaking up the warmth of love and soft reggae music that exudes from The Loft."

"Been here a few times , food always great, down side. Staff over attentive got asked 4-5 times are we ready to order by different members of staff, then as we were eating constantly clearing bits off table, felt like they were rushing to get us served out , great shame as could be amazing there service charge added on bill for 4 £165. Which we declined but left our own tip , please read make your restaurant even better."

"We hired the Sunflower Eaterie in the evening for my husbands 30th birthday party. It's a great venue for a party! The buffet food was fantastic quality and there was lots of it! The staff are very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful in making sure it was an excellent evening. I'd highly recommend the Sunflower Eaterie as a venue."

"Stunning food, a real surprise when I first found it. Lovely authentic service, delivered with passion and a deep knowledge of the origins of the dishes. Great selection of both soft and alcoholic drinks, again authentic from Italy, traditional sodas etc. Ingatestone is very lucky to have a restaurant of this calibre on the high street; it's such a joy to visit every time. It's worth calling ahead, and you certainly have to book in the evenings. Given their popularity you may be disappointed if you don't call ahead to secure a table. Highly recommended; this is what great Italian food is all about Dietary restrictions: It's a relatively small kitchen preparing a wide variety of dishes from scratch. As such, you can't reasonably expect them to accommodate all intolerances and allergies.
