"My wife and I stopped by so she could get Newfoundland's Poutine, "The Mess". Properly made, this is French Fries topped with dressing, hamburger meat, weiners, and gravy. She said it was excellent. I had a hot beef sandwich which was good. They were also offering a Sunday Dinner (Jiggs) which looked excellent but we passed on as we were having Jiggs that evening.Good Newfoundland comfort food."

"Stopped here on way from Gros Morne. A bit out of the way--10 mile detour off of the Trans Canadian--but came here after a policeman in Grand Falls highly recommended it. Well worth it! Chelsea's is a chip wagon that has fish and chips and lots of other enticing choices. Fish market has nice selection of salt cod and other seafood."

"Note that I don't give 5 stars easily. We had a Sunday dinner here, so the menu was limited to the roast of beef or turkey. Service was fast and friendly. The view from this accessible restaurant on the upper level is very pleasant."
