This place is THE place to go to when you come on the island. It is right on the ocean with great scenery, good music and fantastic food!! Had the seafood steam pot, seafood chowder and lobster rolls. All tasted amazing and those lobster rolls!!! I have had a lot of them and never this good! Make sure you go!! View all feedback.
What Pilar D doesn't like about Point Prim Chowder House:
The Chowder House at Point Prim has a beautiful view of the water and the lighthouse. The layout of the tables however was haphazard coupled with their new no service policy made it awkward. The food was mediocre with a small portion and more celery than fish. Oysters were small a filled with shell bits served only with horseradish. Overpriced. I guess you are paying for the view. The food was delicious. All the dishes we tried were great well seasoned and nicely presented. We will definitely revisit. What a view too.
